Joined Benesse in 1981. She has worked at the Company in a variety of roles in the Junior High School Correspondence Education Department, the Publishing and Book Department, and the Ethics Committee. In 2003, she was appointed Head of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Office. Ms. Sakuragi was appointed Corporate Auditor in June 2003 and Corporate Auditor of Benesse Corporation in October 2009.
