Teruyasu Murakami

( Date of Birth: October 15,1945 )

Joined Nomura Research Institute (NRI) in 1968.
After holding various executive positions, including Representative Director and Director of Research & Consulting Division, Corporate R&D, International Operations, Dr. Murakami was appointed Senior Fellow at NRI and Director of Benesse in 2008. He teaches at the Faculty of Policy Management of Keio University, and participates in and chairs numerous governmental committees in the Cabinet Office, MIC, METI and committees of economic organizations such as the Keidanren, Keizai Doyukai and SPRING.
