Joined Fukutake Publishing Co., Ltd. (now Benesse Corporation) in 1973. In 1986, he was chosen as the Company's Representative Director and President. Mr. Fukutake served variously as Chairman, President and CEO and Chairman and CEO at different times prior to being appointed to his current post in October 2009.
