Joined Fukutake Publishing in 1971. After a number of roles, including Manager of the Senior High School and Junior High School Correspondence Education departments, he was appointed Director in 2000, subsequently serving in several positions.
In April 2007 he was appointed Representative Director, President and COO, as well as President of the Education Company. He has been in his current post since October 2009.
